An organization comprises experts and professionals coming from various family backgrounds. There are bound to be cultural and racial differences in a workspace, but these differences should not lead to conflict and discord.
Educator Dr. Lisa Collins brings the solution to all the racial-related issues through her Organizational Support projects. She is a life coach at Education through Engagement, LLC, a consulting services firm. Her work centers around providing the best services for Organizational Development, Healing, and Health.
Lisa began working as a Life Coach with Conscious Freedom Coaching. Having a rich educational background and professional experience working in public schools, she took it upon herself to help people heal from racial harm. Before this, Lisa also didn’t know that she had racial trauma, but she recognized and faced it in her research journey.
By studying her experiences with racial trauma, Lisa learned how to heal. The healing of oneself opens up the energy to love others more deeply. Lisa has a more peaceful existence.
Professionally, Lisa has used her autoethnographic research to release new projects through her consulting firm. Her most recent organizational work was for the National Park Service Diverse Internship (2019, 2020, 2022). Education through Engagement has also served as a Salem-Keizer School District Equity Consultant since 2019.
According to Dr. Lisa, 2022 is the defining year for Education through Engagement, LLC. The firm will continue its current projects and release new ones to promote racial consciousness and bring social impact to organizations and the general public.
The current ongoing project is Lisa’s podcast show: Love and Light with Dr. Lisa: Everyday Living in Peace, which focuses on bringing positivity, spirituality, love, and healing by discussing various aspects of daily life. She posts new episodes regularly and plans to release a book related to the podcast show in the future.
As a successful researcher and consultant, Lisa has presented in various conferences. She recently attended Equity Wellness in Challenging Times, Oregon City Equity Conference in 2021.
