‘Smooth seas do not make skillful sailors’– Ancient African Proverb
Life is full of fighting the challenges, dealing them with all your might. Where some overcome them, some are consumed by them. These challenges are what define the path you take and determine the power you possess. Konstantinos Synodinos, the founder of a leading Greek digital marketing company, SimplyDigital.gr. and owner of the highly innovative marketplace for sports talent, ChampionsID believes developing the mindset of a champion means facing challenges heads on.
Konstantinos accredits his boundless imaginations and persistence to be the reason behind his success. His ultimate motto in life is, “Dream like a kid, do it like a champion”. He overcame several challenges and failures including financial ones to accomplish his goals. Today, he is an inspiration to many who wish to become an entrepreneur but hesitate to face the challenges that come with the process.
Konstantinos is a Greek, born and raised in Athens, Greece. His family did not have a single drop of entrepreneurial blood in their veins however, Konstantinos always saw himself as a businessman. Values of hard work and determination were instilled in him from a young age which led him to take up challenges and be part of athletics as a child. While being an athlete in Martial arts for many years, he studied marketing at the university and attained an MBA degree.
After working in P&G and Diago for almost a decade, Konstantinos decided to explore entrepreneurship and launched his first company which aimed to mix his two passions; sports and business.
While talking about the biggest challenge faced in his journey towards success, Konstantinos says, “My 1st company after the initial success and impressive user traction faced the issue of not being able to monetize effectively the user base. That kicked off a negative loop of events, like running out of money, not being able to engage our users, team members having to leave to get another job, and me trying to find the motivation to continue fighting for that.”
The motivation to find funds led him to create his second company, which provides consultancy coaching and other digital services to clients and businesses. Konstantinos says, “Simply digital came to the rescue as an idea, to fund me personally and my other company after pivoting to a new business model. If I had quit at this moment, I would be probably working again in the corporate world and that would be a big defeat for me and my dreams.”
Konstantinos life and success story is a source of inspiration for all those who fear challenges and do not realize how you can navigate your life through these challenges and emerge stronger and more successful than before.
