Having a family is more than a blessing for those who have craved it for years. A few years back, some considered it taboo to have a baby using assisted reproductive technologies. Thankfully, things have changed as the world has progressed.

The estimated number of IVF births can exceed 20 million over the next couple of years. Advances in clinical techniques and technologies have made IVF more effective and efficient. Bill Garbarini, a healthcare strategist, has helped numerous IVF companies evolve with his unique insight into fertility products and services markets.

As a senior executive across healthcare, pharmaceutical, and biotech industries for the past two decades, Bill has gained extensive experience. He has achieved tremendous success at TMRW Life Sciences, Inc, where he helped transform a system of specimen management that once had analog tracking and record-keeping. Until the creation of TMRW, IVF practitioners worldwide used manual storage methods developed over 40 years ago.

By revolutionizing cryogenic storage with robotics and automation, Bill has helped make IVF safer for families who store frozen embryos and reproductive cells. In addition, Radio Frequency Identification was incorporated into the system to distinguish the correct specimen from others in the first robotic storage system for vitrified embryos and oocytes. As a founding employee, he has also helped raise over $150 million in funding.

As a former operations executive for Reproductive Medicine Associates of New Jersey, Bill has successfully built and expanded a national network of clinics. Soon, he became the company’s Executive Director, making him the first non-physician to hold such a reputable position. Cooperating with Instituto Valenciano de Infertilidad (IVI), he has created the largest Assisted Reproduction group in the world.

Bill’s goal is to improve IVF care and make it accessible to a broader set of patients by changing the standard and traditional IVF practice. Everyone who wishes to become a parent should have a chance to build their own family, not just those who can afford it.

A versatile, all-around contributor, Bill has been part of start-ups, product launches, operational and departmental build-outs, divestitures, company mergers, fundraising, and team building for various healthcare companies. He brings creative leadership, insightful vision, and an unrelenting dedication to every organization he has served.

Using his experience as a basis for strategic posts for like-minded business owners, Bill Garbarini is a passionate advocate of family building. As part of his consulting business, Bold Move, LLC, he is helping others grow IVF businesses and solve many problems by applying thoughtful and creative solutions.
