Here’s How Stephanie Gonzalez Found Her Way into the Modeling Industry

Stephanie Gonzalez is a famous plus-size model and social media influencer. She goes by the name of “She Be Stephanie.” Stephanie became a model after being spotted on Instagram. She immediately gained a following and learned that her passion for fashion and photography was gaining worldwide notice. Her mission is to raise awareness that being gorgeous does not need to be a specific size…all sizes are lovely.

Life gets tough for plus-size women, and cherry on the top are these fashion brands that do not offer plus-size clothing. Stephanie shares that only a few manufacturers provide truly fashionable plus-size options, while the rest aren’t made with plus-size bodies in mind.

There has been a long-held belief that plus-size women should dress in a certain way in our society. Stephanie tries to change this perspective and encourage people to get out of the social barriers of “don’t wear horizontal stripes, don’t wear anything too form-fitting, don’t wear shorts, cover your curves, and so on.”

“We want to dress in the same way that everyone else does; why not the ‘Crop tops’ when you like to wear them!” says the plus-size model.

Stephanie had her fair share of troubles in life. The youngest of four children, she was born into a middle-class family and grew up in Kerman, a small town west of Fresno. Her adolescent years were marked by a struggle to deal with her self-esteem difficulties. Stephanie became engrossed in drugs and spent the whole of her twenties battling her addiction. She eventually confessed in 2013 because of her family’s support and intervention.

The red-head beauty now has over 622,000 Instagram followers who adore her material, and she inspires a lot of others to embrace themselves. Her work focuses on general body positivity, highlighting the necessity of loving oneself and others regardless of appearance. She talks about the value of self-acceptance, acceptance, and well health. Stephanie’s message emphasizes the importance of recognizing people based on their ability and non-physical characteristics rather than their outward looks.
