Talking about her achievements Louise Houghton is quite open about her struggles, accomplishments, and the role she played in her success. She started her first job on SkySports as a broadcast journalist. Having gained exposure in the UK’s largest satellite sports network Louise was able to use it for her benefit and get recognized across the other networks, both national and international.“I was then recruited to work as a broadcast journalist for a German network and spent 7 years hosting their internationally broadcast daily lifestyle magazine show called EUROMAXX. From this show, I have been asked to host many award shows and product launches. I have also spent a lot of time hosting live panel discussions and conferences.”
Louise’s work as a voiceover artist and live events host saw her presenting at prestigious award shows all over Europe, which includes Cannes. She has the complete confidence of her recruiters when she takes on any live productions and her list of clients include Samsung, Daimler, DMEXCO, and the European Space Agency.
Apart from TV hosting and broadcasting journalism, she is also a professional actress who has studied at a drama school in the UK and worked on various independent films and TV series for the BBC.
Having shifted to Los Angeles five years ago, Louise is making a mark in this country and working with big names like Universal, ESPN, and Cellar Media on everything ranging from TV, online content, podcasts, and films. She is also in the process of developing a new production company that is focused on environmental projects as sustainability and climate change are global issues close to her heart.
