Nowadays, social media is the most common form of showing appreciation and love for something a person is passionate about. People can post anything and everything online, leading them to connect with compatible people with whom they share their interests, ultimately leading to community-building.
With a love of art, pop culture, and music, Michael Kreiser decided to share his passion with the world through social media. His approach deviates a little from what other artists have shared as he puts his touch on art and makes it his own. Michael combined all three aspects – art, pop culture, and music – to create illustrations for comic book covers. He would make a scenario in his mind after taking inspiration from a lyric or song he heard, after which he would draw it out before posting it online.
Having received training as an artist throughout his university years, Michael wanted to support himself fully. He had faith in his artistic capabilities and was confident he would reach that point one day. With a bit of help from Instagram and Reddit, he has built a following which has steadily grown once he began to share his unique and original faux comic book covers inspired by songs. It didn’t take long for him to realize how marketable his illustrations were, which led him to establish the Fine Art Of MK. His creations are printed on various products, such as shirts, phone cases, and canvases, which people can purchase from his online shop.
Michael created art meticulously, ensuring each piece resonated with the audience and showcased an unavoidable reality. He is sharing it with people who are just as passionate about music and art as he is, wanting to give them the best art illustrations. He credits his success to his fans and followers and encourages them to send in song suggestions and artists he can create for.
In the last few years, Michael has added quite a few credentials to his ever-growing portfolio. Apart from creating digital art for his shop, his story was featured on HGTV’s House Hunters. His art has also been used as a set design for several movies and shows on Hulu. These are just a few of his accomplishments, and Michael is working hard to create more art. He wants to share it with the world as much as possible while honing his creative and artistic skills.
