They even have a specialized course just for teachers, based on Jeff’s popular book “Open Air Flight Club.” This course helps enhance STEM classes by bringing in aviation-related content. But it doesn’t stop there!
The book also encourages exploring aviation in other subjects like English and History, giving educators valuable insights and strategies to inspire their students and promote careers in aviation.
What really makes Open Air Flight Club stand out is its focus on the youth. Jeff gets a lot of inspiration from his own kids, as well as his flight students and colleagues who share his passion. Unlike other aviation advocacy organizations that were founded by older generations, OAFC brings a fresh perspective. They’re leading a revolution in aviation education and breathing new life into the field.
