Despite how far the world has come and evolved, there is still one war we battle daily: racism. Though subtly, racism still embeds and impedes one’s daily activity. People try to find equal footing in all aspects of life and are fighting the limited opportunities offered to people who are not conventionally caucasian. Princess April’s preferred choice of battling and overcoming racism is her modeling career.
Growing up in a small Orange County, California town, April comes from humble beginnings. Being mixed raced herself, part Vietnamese and part French, gave her an entirely different perspective on life growing up. Her family worked hard and dedicated themselves to improving their lives – a trait she learned early on. Seeing them work with such passion and zest, April was motivated to strive beyond what life had given her and build a successful career.
As a model and content creator, April has built diverse skills and interests throughout her career. Her range includes modeling in anime cosplay, cars, and Playboy while creating content on various social media platforms, such as Instagram and TikTok. Utilizing her experience from her past work, April is well-connected in the business world, allowing her to collaborate and produce unique and engaging content for her fans.
April is a dedicated member of the Asian Creative Community. She is doing her part and helping other models and content creators like herself by collaborating with them and creating videos and other forms of visual art. She has worked with a fellow TikTok user Boba (@heybobabae), who is also of Asian descent, and creates several videos showcasing their playful and engaging personalities.
So far, April has enjoyed several highlights while working as a model. Some of these significant accomplishments include being the feature model at Spocom Super Show Anaheim 2022 and being a creator on Playboy’s Centerfold, where she was dubbed ‘Flirty Bunny.’
Over the years, April has learned to be confident and sure of her abilities as an aspiring model. Believing she has done quite well for herself, April is excited about future opportunities, hoping to utilize them and propel herself further in her career while inspiring her community to work with resilience and dedication.
